Well, since that night that I took away everything from Jadyn, she has not come out of her room for naps/bedtime. It is like I have a new, very obedient about bedtime child. I guess it was worth those agonizing hours of her being upset to have this result.
Funny story: The other night I had to go to Young Women Activities. Nathan was havinng a hard time getting Maya to go to sleep. He was rocking Maya in her room and he asked Jadyn to read books in her room. She kept peeking in to see how it was going. One time she said, "Daddy, Maya having a hard time going to sleep?" After he said yes, she said, "Oh, I hope we don't have to take her blankie away" I am still cracking up about this!

Ok- so what are suggestions for getting a teenager to go to bed on time? Take away cell phone- tried that. She is in there with no lights on, but doesn't go to sleep!
Hmm, I am new to this...I think these methods will be less effective as she gets older!
I'm going to take Livvy's clothes away from her. Seriously, she won't go right to sleep, but she has herself a fashion show, by pulling everything out of her drawers and trying on numerous outfits. At least she'll put herself back in bed and go to sleep after a while. But her room looks like a tornado hit it when she wakes up.
