Jadyn came 3 days early.
Maya came 9 days early.
My due date is May 16th.

Changes are happening......

We have had some changes recently:

1. Maya likes to sit on the potty. She has gone #2 in the potty three times now.

2. As of last night, Maya is now sleeping completely in her twin bed with Jadyn. It is going well and she slept all night last night. Also, Jadyn has gone right to bed both nights without coming out at all. I guess she is comforted by having Maya already sleeping in there already.

3. We started converting Maya's old room into the nursery for our little guy. I must say it was hard to take down all the girl nursery stuff. It made me realize how quickly the girls have grown.

4. Nathan will be starting a new job on May 3rd. This will be an exciting change, but it will be a busy time with the new baby arriving soon.

5. I am as huge as a boat. I am hoping this little guy is not huge!

Happy Easter

We had a great and relaxing Easter this year. We started off the day with Jadyn waking up and hour early and hounding me for the next hour to go down and look for her basket. Finally, we all made our way downstairs to look for the baskets. Jadyn helped Maya find her basket first and Maya just kept saying "Oooh, Oooh" as she looked at everything.

Jadyn was thrilled with the stuff in her basket. She was amazed that the Easter Bunny knew just what she wanted (kite, light up toothbrushes, nail polish, fairy wings). That bunny sure is pretty smart!



Before breakfast, as Nathan, Jadyn, and I were distracted looking at her basket items, Maya was already opening the chocolate in her basket. Notice, that I did give her raisin bran before I let her dig into her chocolate bunny. This girl is definitely a chocolate girl and just kept saying, "Umm, Umm (her version of yummy)".

Since it was General Conference, the girls loved having Daddy for a whole day. We attempted to watch conference with the girls and then we had a great dinner with Nathan's co-worker and some good friends. It was a great day!

Maya's First Haircut

Well, after months of worrying about Maya moving around too much for me as an unprofessional to cut her hair, we took the plunge this last Saturday. She actually did quite well and sat fairly still.

Jadyn's hair needed a trim as well. She convinced me that we needed to get suckers because that is what they give her when she goes with Nathan while he gets his haircut.
