Halloween 2011

The theme of our costume's for this year was fairy tales.  The girls were great and chose to use dress-up costumes we already owned so I only had to buy one for Bennett.  We had an Aurora, Snow White, and a dragon.

Heading to the church Trunk-or-Treat party

Jadyn: Always ready to play a princess

What a pretty Snow White
The Dragon did NOT like his hood

Hitting the trunks!

Curious about the jack o lantern

He couldn't resist seeing what was inside: he is a curious little boy

Heading out around our neighborhood on Halloween night

Fun visit with family

In October, Aunt Megan came to visit to help us move into our new house.  Well, since our house was not done, we just played!  Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Jessi and Grandma Julie were able to come over to join in the fun as well.  We took a trolley ride downtown and had fun playing with Jeremy and Jessi's new puppy Bowser.  Jadyn loved Bowser, Maya was scared, and Bennett was on the fence :)

Playing in the leaves: October 2011

1st Day of School

Maya as she headed to preschool.  We were going to do a "joy school" type preschool with some other kids in the ward, but it didn't end up working out.  We will have to look at options for preschool for Maya for next year.

Mom got to attend the first day with Jadyn :)

Ready to tackle kindergarten!

Look at that sweet girl...is she really old enough for school?

Jadyn loved the activities

See Mom, that wasn't hard!
As soon as we got home, Jadyn plopped right down and started telling Nathan all about the first day.  It was so cute.

Labor Day 2011

We got to ride the carousel and play in the fountains.  We love when Dad has a day off :)

What did we do in August?

Apparently, we picked blackberries, Jadyn conked out on my bed for a nap, Bennett ate spaghetti, and the kids played with cotton balls on the ground.  See, the crazy thing about trying to go back and blog from events several months ago is that I don't remember much of what we did.  Plus, I obviously did not take too many pictures either.

The Princess turns 3!

Maya turned 3 on July 31st, 2011.   She got to go on a special date with Daddy.  Afterwards, we had a low-key family party with cake/ice cream.  You will notice as the years go on and the kids increase, my cake effort is declining.  Maya: as you read this when you are older, I love you so much...please don't take the cake effort as an indication of my love for you :)  Mom is just tired!

Date with Daddy: McDonalds and Winnie the Pooh Movie

The cake: see the effort....I tossed some jewelry on top!

Excited about the presents

Singing Happy Birthday to her

Jadyn, can you help me blow them out?
Thanks Jadyn, now let's eat some cake!

July 2011

3 cute kids in a cart!
Okay, so maybe only Jadyn thought it was fun
