Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween. We decided to go with the "bug" theme this year. Jadyn was a butterfly, Maya was a ladybug, and Bennett was a spider.

We had a Halloween playdate Friday morning. Friday night we headed to the church Trunk-or-Treat. On Saturday we went trick-or-treating in a smaller community here with some friends since we did not want to go on the Sabbath. Then, today for actual Halloween we celebrated with a breakfast of pumpkin pancakes and finally carved our pumpkins for Family Home evening.

The bugs chatting before the playdate:

The little spider looking cute enough to cuddle with:

At the Trunk-or-Trick (I was supposed to be Bennett's web, but it didn't work out so well :)

Our little butterfly excited to go trick-or-treating with her friends:

The little ladybug wants in on the action too:

The spider just wanted to go home and sleep:

Maya's little legs could not keep up with the older kids, so Daddy carried her everywhere. Her she is checking out her loot:

Maya excited to use the scooper: (with Bennett chilling in the background)

Jadyn showing her creation: (She actually carved most of it)

Maya "cut-cut". She was so happy to get to use a knife:

Posing with the pumpkins:

The girls loved lifting off the lids:

Happy Halloween!

Looks like you had as much fun as we did this year. Your kids are so adorable, loved the bud theme! BTW you looked pretty cool as the web on Friday (at least while it lasted)

Cute bug theme! I wanted to have a theme this year too but it just didn't work out. Now I am completely over Halloween and am looking forward to Christmas.
