Apple Picking

Jadyn had a chance to visit the apple orchard with her preschool class last week. However, since we did not get a chance to enjoy the fun with her, we decided to go with our playgroup today. It was chilly, but fun!

The girls ready to go on the wagon ride:

On the wagon ride: (Jadyn informed me that she thought the driver was the same guy that she had last week. She was amazed that he was there again today!)

Looking for apples:

Maya loved putting the apples in the bucket:

Enjoying our hard work:

Jadyn loved the signs again. She loves to put her head through them and give me cheesy grins. I couldn't get Maya to put her head through.

Jadyn resting in the straw maze. We had trouble convincing Maya to go in at first.

Then, after some coaxing from best friend and big sister Jadyn, she happily followed her.

Jadyn explaining to Maya how to climb over the hay to get into the middle:

The big chair was a hit again this year too:

Bennett was an angel of course and just chilled in the sling. He is crying here because Maya had fallen down and I leaned down to help her and he got squished and woke up from his nap. He was not happy about being disturbed.

Michigan apples are supposed to be the best, right? I hope you're going to be making apple pie!

It is funny that Maya was cautious about the straw maze when those labyrinths are so horrible in comparison. Super cute pictures.
