Well, lately Maya thinks it is fun to suck on her toes. She laughs at us when we tell her that is yucky. As soon as I take her socks off to change her into her pajamas, the toes go into her mouth. While it is cute now, I am hoping she lets go of this little pastime soon. Although it is semi-acceptable for children to suck their thumbs...I can only imagine the look of the other kids/teacher if she pulls out her toes during school!
Also, yesterday Maya's first tooth popped through the skin on the bottom. I probably would not have even known she was getting a tooth except for she bit down while nursing a couple of days ago. So, I decided to take a look in her mouth and sure enough she had a tooth about to come in. This kid is an angel...does not even complain when teeth are breaking through her gums. She was a little more tired today than usual, but otherwise her happy little self. I am going to miss her gummy little smile a little though :(

They grow up way too fast don't they.
It is pretty cute when a baby chews/sucks on her toes...but you're right, that will have to end before school starts. Remember when Laura Ingalls chewed on her toe nails on Little House on the Prarie. YYYuuuuuuuckkkk! I dry heave even while thinking about it. Good thing we lose flexability as we get older, the toe chewing thing will have to end at some point.
I had to laugh at the title. Brandon has taught and showed the boys all about toe jam (fuzzies in the toes from their socks) and now both Adam and Branson always, always look for toe jam when they take their socks off and MUST get it out immediately! It drives me crazy sometimes when they say, "I have toe jam Mommy" and proceed to inspect their toes!
]She is so cute and chubby!!! It really makes me realize how skinny Addison is.
Kate loves to do that too, now, whenever I change her diaper. I lift her legs up to keep them out of the way, and she just munches while I wipe. It's pretty darn cute!
