More June Fun!

Last Day of First grade (June 6th, 2013)

Bennett's moustache Jadyn made him.  He came upstairs and happily announced he had a moustache...cracked me up!

This little cutie now has glasses

She has been doing really well with wearing them

Of course the girls wanted a picture too!

Happily looking at books.  Jadyn has become quite the reader.  She finished the library program in a little over a week.  I had to tell her to take a break from reading occasionally to eat, etc.  It is nice because she is reading outloud to Maya much of the time so Maya earns her reading time too!

Playing dress-up with Miss Anne.  Bennett took his batman role very seriously

Jadyn loves playing dress-up and loves having pictures taken.  She told me to take one of her like this with her arms folded.

One day the kiddos decided to make a mud slide out of the rock pile in the empty lot next to us.  What a mess!

Have an accident Bennett?  Nope, just the mudslide experience!

Trying to get clean afterwards.  I told them it was a lost cause and we headed in for baths.  It took two wash cycles to get the mud out of Bennett's shorts!
