Bennett turns 2!

Bennett is 2!  It is so hard to believe this amazing little boy is already 2.  He has brought so much joy to our lives.  We had a great birthday celebration with him.  Grandma Julie came up for the celebration.  We went to the children's museum, rode the carousel, ate out (pasta) for lunch, took great naps, opened presents, and then had pizza and cupcakes.  Bennett had a great day...all his favorite foods and a day of fun.

Fixing stuff!

Jadyn liked the face paint at the museum.  She often looks drugged in pictures.

Bennett loved the water pump.  "See Mommy Water Out See Mommy"
Cranky the apples up the conveyer belt

Intent on fishing

Radio announcers

Maya chose Grandma to be her buddy on the carousel of course :)

Jadyn chose the mermaid horse

This was Bennett's first time on the carousel.  He hated it and would not stay on the horse.

Nathan ended up just standing and holding him.  He still hated it :(

Bennett loved the olive oil/garlic mixture to dip his bread in at the Italian restaurant.

Can you tell someone is happy for the birthday sundae?

Simply delicious Mom!

Opening a card from Grandma Ann and Papa

Grandma Julie gave him a basketball hoop.  He was excited and said "Ball, ball" and "come on, come on" to Nathan to tell him he wanted him to open it!

He got a Winnie the Pooh kite from the girls and a turtle swimming pool and turtle sprinkler from Mom & Dad

Eagerly anticipating the finished hoop

Score!

We attempted to go for a walk in the morning, but by the time we were all dressed and ready it was raining.  Bennett was disappointed so Grandma took him out in the rain to show him why we couldn't take a walk

Doggie cupcakes.  Bennett picked a doggie theme for his party.  Nothing simpler than tossing the plastic dogs on the cupcakes!

Easy to make and super delicious

The party room.  Jadyn and Maya helped Grandma decorate.  This is by far the girls favorite part of birthdays.  They love to decorate!

Pizza....Yum!  Bennett's favorite food

Bennett knew exactly what to do with the candles.  He was so cute.  "Blow Mommy See".  We let him do it twice because he was just that cute.

Pleased with himself

"What a great day.  Can I have a birthday everyday Mom?"

So hard to believe he is 2! And he is just adorable. We CANNOT wait to see all of you in a couple of weeks!

Having the dogs on top of the cupcakes makes the frosting look like dog poo.

Bennett is the cutest. I like his face when he got ice cream at Papa Vino's. And I'm still dreaming about that chocolate frosting.
