Daddy/Daughter Dance

Nathan was able to take the girls to a Daddy/Daughter Dance a couple weekends ago.  When the flyer came home saying any girls preshool age and older could attend, I asked Jadyn if it was alright if Maya went.  At first she said no, but then I informed her that when Maya was in kindergarten she would need to let Maya go by herself with Dad.  She chose to make it a family event!

They had so much fun.  Nathan took them to McDonald's before (and let them get Happy Meals...I am always cheap and make them pick two $1 items).  Then they got to dance and have treats at the dance.  Nathan said Jadyn was rocking it out in the front with the teenage girls and was a party animal.  Maya (who gets overwhelmed by crowds) stuck like glue to Nathan and preferred to stay on the outside of the gym and not in the middle of the crowd.  The girls both came home so happy...and tired :)

Nathan brought home a rose for each girl: they were esctatic
