Destination: Jackson Hole

Nathan's family had a family reunion this summer in Jackson Hole.  We drove out there since plane tickets were so expensive.  The kids did great in the car and slept fairly well.  I got them little pillows that attach to their carseat straps for better sleeping.  This was key....their heads did not flop around like last summer's trip.

Jackson Hole is a beautiful place.  We did hiking, went up to the top of the mountain on an ski lift, Nathan went rafting, and went to the lake and swam/had a campfire.  Jackson Hole is definitely a wonderful place to visit.

Kids entertaining themselves while I finish packing for trip.  Choo Choo!
Pit Stop: Cheyenne, WY.  Nathan tries to get in a workout while Bennett "helps"

Pulling into Jackson Hole: Girls are wiped!

Getting ready for hike at Jenny Lake.  Kids did awesome.  Jadyn trekked the way up with Aunt Autumn
Saw a moose on the side of the road: like any other tourist we pulled off for a picture :)
Parks are fun even on vacation

Not a bad view, huh?

Entrance to park made out of antlers: really neat

Jadyn is making antlers on herself

Girls had to pet him even after I said it was not alive

Shopping in a cool toy store where Jadyn and Maya loved pushing around the little carts

Shootout in town.  They put on this free shootout show in town.  We had to leave within 5 minutes because it was too scary for the kids.  I think Nathan was a little disappointed to leave, but I was grateful because the show was really not appropriate for young kids.

Bennett liked this slide

Oh Maya, you melt my heart and cause it to palpitate....usually within 5 minutes of each other!

Riding the aerial tram ski lift: It was free so we did it on two different days.  It was so neat to be at the top of the mountain

Ladies side of the tram

What a view!  Oh, the mountains are cool too, but I was talking about my family :)

Love Jadyn's expression (Excuse the sandals with the skinny jeans: I only brought a few pairs of shoes :)

Going back down the mountain
Swimming at Jenny Lake

Two handsome guys

The kids got absolutely filthy.  They played in the dirt at the campground and loved it.  Needless to say that even though we got home at 10 pm we still HAD to give them baths

Jadyn loved the tin foil dinners Aunt Sara and Uncle Ryan made

Maya and Sophie chatting with Sebastion

Jadyn and Papa.  We think Jadyn resembles Papa quite a bit :)
