Megan's visit: Part 2

Next up: Megan watched other three kiddos while Jadyn and I prepared a healthy and delicious meal for everyone.

Then, we headed down to Bloomington to see Jacob.  We were able to fit in a couple parks, Avanti's, Carl's, Grandma Rose, and then ended the day at Grandpa Steinberg's house.  It was a packed day!

Aunt Meggie Visits: Part 1

We were blessed to be able to have Megan visit with us for 3 weeks in July.  It was awesome!  We were able to do so many fun things together.

1st up: visit to the Jelly Belly Factory and Dinosaur Museum

Isn't Asher's hat especially cute?!

The jelly belly mosaics are pretty neat

Nathan tried the gross ones at the sample bar

Nathan said the rotten egg was the worst!

4th of July

Squinting at the parade

Examining the candy stash!

Getting ready for fireworks

Asher's 1st sucker: he loved it!

Asher liked Bennett's glow bracelets

Sparkler time!

Best part about 4th of July: spending it with Aunt Meggie!

Swim lessons

The girls both took swim lessons at a local pool here during the last two weeks of June.  The did surprisingly well for not having lessons in 2 years.  They both passed to the next level at the end of the two weeks!

Asher turns 1!

Asher turned 1 on June 23rd.  We were able to have Grandma Julie visit and celebrate with us.  We went strawberry picking, out to dinner, and had cake/ice cream.

Asher's 1 year stats:
Weight: 21 lbs 9 oz (27%)
Length: 30" (51%)
Head circumference: 18.5" (64%)

Asher seems so much smaller than Bennett was.  I looked back and at a year Bennett was a pound and 5 oz heavier than Asher and 1/2 inch longer and his head was 5/8 inch larger :)

At one, Asher is:
lovable, loves his pacifier, is hungry as soon as he wakes in the morning, is cruising along everywhere, loves to watch his siblings, takes 2 naps, still nurses first thing in the morning
