Jadyn is a very inquisitive child and lately has been asking some questions that I can't answer. Sometimes I have to tell her that I don't know the answer and that frustrates her.
Today she asked me a question that made me laugh. She asked if the light in the freezer stays on even when she shuts the door. I laughed and told her that I don't think so, but I can't be sure. So, weigh in...does the light stay on? :)

Messy Maya
Maya is a messy eater. Especially with treats.
Here she is with the evidence of a chocolate pretzel treat on her face:

Fudgesicle time:

This is the expression that Maya makes frequently. It is the, "I can't hear you if I can't see you face"

Jadyn said, "take a picture of me too". Of course, not a drop of mess on this girl. She likes to stay clean!

Bennett's nursery
Well, since Bennett turned 1 month yesterday, I decided it was time to move him into his room. I always have trouble with this transition. I think it is because I have carried these children for 9 months and then I have them right next to me in a bassinet right after birth. So, moving them to a whole other room is hard on me! I admit that I am a sap and feel silly crying about it.
He slept so well in his bed last night. He slept for a 5 hour stretch for the first time. So, I guess it was time for him to have his own space.
I finally got Nathan to hang Bennett's letters last night so his room was completely ready for him. Here is his room (Don't mind the portrait of Jadyn in the last picture...it will be replaced with a picture of Bennett soon!):

Bennett is 1 Month Old!
Bennett turned 1 Month old yesterday. Wow has time flown by. He is such a sweet boy and brings a calming spirit to our home. He has started smiling, cooing, and even rolled over from his tummy to his back the other day. He still sleeps most of the day.
Here are some pictures of him on his 1 Month birthday. Sorry they are blurry. He was hungry so he was moving like crazy.

3 Weeks!
Bennett is 3 weeks today. He is such a sweet little boy. We love having him in our family.
So far, these are his favorite things:
1. Eating
2. Sleeping
3. Pooping (seriously, this kid loves to go through diapers...it is almost like he sees it as his personal challenge to see how many diapers we can use in a day)
4. Bouncy chair (and it is a good thing b/c I can't hold him very much with taking care of the girls)
Things he hates:
1. Bathtime
2. Being cold
3. Me using the bulb syringe on his nose
4. Pacifiers (I am trying to get him to like them so he won't suck his thumb like Maya...but he makes a disgusted face and spits them out)
5. Getting his arms pinned down when I swaddle him
6. Getting his diaper changed

Memorial Day
We went to a parade in the morning, got a grill for Nathan's early Father's Day present, put the grill together, and then grilled hamburgers and veggie kabobs with some friends and had homemade banana ice cream. It was a great day! We love having holidays with Nathan.
